This topic provides information about the sample dataset for Arria for MicroStrategy. This dataset is included in the sample dossier that you download in the tutorials.

Time dimensions in the dataset
A time dimension is a dimension field that contains date information. In the sample dataset, date values are stored across multiple columns. MicroStrategy creates a field for each of these columns. The created fields are:
Year
Quarter
Month
Day
You can use these fields as time dimensions to analyze your data:

You must set the Entity Type for each time dimension to DateTime in Step 1 of the Arria Answers wizard.
